Available for single-phase service for all uses subject to rules and regulations of the Association and execution of an Application for Membership and Electric Service.
If the metered monthly demand exceeds 20 kilowatts (kW) for nine of the past 12 months, the member’s bill will be calculated under the Large Single-Phase Rate Schedule until such a time that the member’s kW demand is less than 20 kW for 12 consecutive months.
The maximum current during the startup of individual motors served under the schedule shall not exceed 260 amps at 240 volts as authorized in advance by Meeker Cooperative.
The maximum billing demand shall be the greatest 15-minute demand (subject to power factor adjustment) during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated, or recorded by a demand meter. Demand will be read to the nearest 0.01 kilowatt.
The standard size transformer for the Small Single-Phase service is 15 Kilovolt-ampere (kVA). Your electric service may require a larger transformer than a 15 kVA unit because of the type of equipment you have connected, for example, a welder, grain dryer, or any equipment with a large electric motor(s). Meeker Co-op will install the transformer needed to meet your electric needs.
The minimum monthly charge for Small Single-Phase Power is $46.50 per month where the required transformer is 15 kVA or less. For members' services requiring additional transformer capacity, the minimum monthly charge shall be:

To qualify for service under this schedule, the monthly metered kilowatt (kW) demand must exceed 20 kW for nine of the past 12 months. If the metered kW demand is less than 20 kW for nine of the past 12 months, the member’s bill will be calculated under the Small Single-Phase Rate 01 Schedule.
The maximum current during startup of individual motors served under the schedule shall not exceed 260 amps at 240 volts as authorized in advance by Meeker Cooperative.
The maximum billing demand shall be the greatest 15-minute demand (subject to power factor adjustment) during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated, or recorded by a demand meter. Demand will be read to the nearest 0.01 kilowatt.
The minimum monthly charge shall be the $115 fixed charge, plus the Special Construction Charge, if applicable, plus $1.20 per kVA of installed transformer capacity of more than 25 kVA of transformer capacity.
Available for all farm, home, and commercial uses, except irrigation, which requires multi-phase service subject to the rules and regulations of the Association and execution of an Application for Membership and Electric Service.
To qualify for this service under this schedule, the kilowatt (kW) demand must not exceed 20 kW for more than three of the past 12 months. If the monthly metered kW demand exceeds 20 kW for more than 3 of the past 12 months, then the member’s bill will be calculated under the Large Three-Phase Rate.
The maximum billing demand shall be the greatest 15-minute demand (subject to power factor adjustment) during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated, or recorded by a demand meter. Demand will be read to the nearest 0.01 kilowatt.
The minimum monthly charge shall be the $88 fixed charge for installations not to exceed 15 kVA of transformer capacity. For services requiring more than 15 kVA of transformer capacity, the minimum shall be increased by $1.20 per kVA of installed transformer capacity more than 15 kVA.
Available for all farm, home, and commercial uses, except irrigation, which requires multi-phase service subject to the rules and regulations of the Association and execution of an Application for Membership and Electric Service.
To qualify for service under this schedule, the monthly metered kilowatt (kW) demand must be greater than 20 kW for more than three of the past 12 months. If the monthly metered kW demand is equal to or less than 20 kW for twelve consecutive months, the member’s bill will be calculated under the Small Three Phase Rate Schedule.
The maximum billing demand shall be the greatest 15-minute demand (subject to power factor adjustment) during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated, or recorded by a demand meter. Demand will be read to the nearest 0.01 kilowatt.
The minimum monthly charge shall be the $145 fixed charge, plus the Special Construction Charge, if applicable, plus $1.20 per kVA of installed transformer capacity more than 25 kVA of transformer capacity.
Available for general service where the required transformer is 350 kVA or greater. Under this service the member agrees to interrupt their entire electrical usage to zero or to a Pre-determined Demand Level (PDL) for the duration of any load control period as determined by Meeker Cooperative. This can be accomplished with or without standby generation. Service subject to the rules and regulations of the Association and execution of an Application for Membership and Electric Service.

The base demand shall be the maximum kilowatt demand (subject to power factor adjustment) established by the member for any period of 15 consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or recorded by a demand meter.
The maximum billing demand shall be the greatest 15-minute demand (subject to power factor adjustment) during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated, or recorded by a demand meter. Demand will be read to the nearest 0.01 kilowatt.
The monthly coincidental demand shall be defined as the member’s actual demand (subject to power factor) when the load is directed to be controlled during the wholesale suppliers' billing peak.
Enrollment: The member shall comply with any application requirements by Meeker Cooperative. If standby generation is installed, it is every generation owner’s responsibility to review the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) rules and ensure their generator(s) comply with the rules applicable to non-emergency engines.
Opt-Out: The member may opt-out of the interruptible program. Selecting the opt-out option will remove the member from participation in the program for a period of no less than one year and any rate cost savings associated with the Large Power Peak Alert rate. The member will then be placed on the applicable rate schedule as determined by MCLP. At the end of the opt-out year the member will have the option of returning to the program after having provided 60-day notification. The notification must either be by letter to Meeker Cooperative or by email to customerservice@meeker.coop
Available for general service where the required transformer is 50 kVA – 350 kVA. Under this service the member agrees to interrupt their entire electrical energy usage to zero for the duration of any load control period as determined by Meeker Cooperative. This can be accomplished with or without standby generation. Service subject to the rules and regulations of the Association and execution of an Application for Membership and Electric Service.

The PCA applies to all rate classes except energy management program rates. The PCA is a charge or credit on your monthly bill to pass through increases or decreases in the cost of purchased power. The PCA is applied to the kWh usage and is listed as a separate line item on your bill.
The member agrees to maintain as near unity power factor as practicable. Meeker Cooperative reserves the right to measure such power factor at any time. Should such measurements indicate that the average power factor is less than 90 percent, the demand for billing purposes shall be the demand as recorded by the demand meter multiplied by 90 percent and divided by the percent power factor.
All rates are subject to applicable sales taxes and fees.
Small Three-Phase Service: Every new service application requires a soft credit check from On-Line Utility Services. If the soft credit check is negative, a $400 deposit (minimum) is required to obtain electric service. This deposit will be held until the member leaves the Meeker Co-op service area. The deposit will be applied to the final bill and any balance returned to the member. Meeker Cooperative pays interest annually on all deposits. Members 60 days past due or disconnected for a delinquent account will pay a minimum $400 deposit or a two-month average bill (whichever is greater).
Large Single Phase, Large Three Phase, Large Power Peak Alert, Irrigation Services: A deposit of $20 times the total installed kVA shall be required on all Demand Billed accounts for any entity without good credit as determined by the Cooperative.
